Eyelash Extension

Eyelash Extension

Eyelash extensions can help you achieve a wide variety of looks, from the natural to the dramatic. They are applied individually to each individual lash, so you'll look like you have more lashes than you ever could with mascara. Plus they last for up to six weeks, which means no more having to remember when your next refill is due!

Eyelash extensions vary in length, thickness and curl - your Lash Technician will help you choose the right lashes to match your natural ones.

Eyelash extensions are applied one by one, directly onto your own lash. The length, thickness and curl of the eyelash extensions will vary depending on your preference. Your Lash Technician will help you choose the right lashes to match your natural ones.

Eyelash extensions can be applied as a full set or as individual lashes (feathered). If you have thin, short or sparse lashes, then we recommend that you opt for a full set so that it gives more volume and thickness to your lashes. However if you already have long and thick lashes then we suggest that you apply individual eyelashes so that they look natural with the rest of your facial features.

Initially, it is helpful to keep your lashes free of mascara for at least 24 hours after application - this allows the adhesive to fully cure and helps avoid product slip.

  • If you are using a reusable applicator brush, remove any excess glue by wiping it down with a towel or paper towel.

  • If you are using a disposable applicator (like we all do), be sure to clean off any excess glue with an alcohol wipe before applying again!

Sometime before treatment a brief consultation will be done to determine which lashes are best for you and what look you want to achieve.

To avoid problems during the process and to ensure that you get the best results possible, a brief consultation will be done prior to your treatment. During this consultation we'll assess your natural lashes and determine which ones are best suited for eyelash extensions. We'll also discuss what look you'd like to achieve, so that we can give you an idea of exactly how long the process will take and what you might expect after it's over. This way, when it comes time for treatment itself, there won't be any surprises along the way.

Your Lash Technician will apply a mild eye gel pad underneath your bottom lashes, so only your top lashes can be treated.

Your lash technician will apply a mild eye gel pad underneath your bottom lashes, so only your top lashes can be treated. This helps to protect the skin around your eyes and make sure that no skin irritation occurs. The active ingredients in the gel pad include alcohol, which acts as a natural antiseptic; aloe vera gel, which soothes irritated areas; and beeswax, which moisturizes the delicate eyelid area.

Be ready for a new set of eyelashes

During the application process, you will be asked to keep your eyes closed. If you’re not comfortable with this, or if you have an aversion to being touched by strangers, it might be better for you to have a friend or family member present during the application process. For some people, having someone close by during the treatment is comforting and makes them feel more relaxed.

If you do decide to have someone accompany you during treatment at home or in a salon, make sure they understand that they are not allowed to touch your eyelashes or get near them in any way. The best thing they can do is sit with their back against a wall and watch what’s going on around them without interfering—and that means not asking questions about how long the process takes! This will help ensure that no one steps over boundaries of personal space or disturbs the technician while she works on applying lashes onto each individual strand of hair above each eye socket.

The entire lash extension process usually takes between 1 and 2 hours depending on how many lash extensions are being applied at once (for example: if only one set is being done then obviously it won't take as long).

This is the best way to get a beautiful new look, and it’s really not that much more expensive than regular lashes. You can wear them for up to two weeks at a time and get refills when needed. When you come in for your appointment we will discuss what look works best for your face shape and eye color so everyone can leave happy!
